People and animals have been my inspiration and passion since I was a little girl growing up in Southern California. My family relocated to Asheville in 1973, and I have called Western North Carolina home ever since.
After graduating from TC Roberson High School in South Asheville, I began working at my parents’ travel agency, where I realized helping people, both in a business and personal context, was so rewarding and gave me a sense of true accomplishment.
When my parents sold the travel agency, I began to pursue my love of people and their animals and began a 6-year career as a veterinary assistant. While there were many joyous occasions working with animals, the sad aspects of the job led me to go back to being a travel agent. Later, as more and more people started turning to the internet for travel arrangements, I decided to channel my love for Asheville and my desire to help people into a career in real estate.
I received my NC Real Estate Broker license in 2005 and immersed myself in discovering the true beauty and history of the area I call home. Now I am able to combine my dedication to helping people and my extensive knowledge of the Asheville area to help clients. Whether they are relocating to Asheville, selling their home to move to a new city, or moving from one part of Asheville to another, facilitating a stress-free and positive transition is my priority.
Sharing my life with my husband Jason, my horse Bow, and our 3 Frenchton puppies, Luci, Oliver, and Emi, keeps me grounded and relaxed. If you stop by our office, you may very well meet the “fun 3”, as I often bring them with me to work at our dog-friendly office.
I also spend as much time as I can (which is never enough) with my daughter Jennifer, my son-in-law Ken, who is in the Air Force, my 2 grandsons, Kaden and Liam, and my son Jimmy, who is an executive chef.
It has been a true gift for me to have found my home here at Town and Mountain Realty with local, like-minded people who have dedicated themselves over the years to support our community and embrace the concept of “paying it forward” in life.
